Specialized Illustration
Roadmap |
 |
When
it comes to communicating complex business concepts, a picture
isn’t automatically worth 1000 words. Applying the principles
of information architecture and graphic design are critical
to developing powerful visuals that foster understanding.
- Informational
or info-graphics; e.g., “USA Today” charts with icons
and text, stylized charts with 3D views
- Technical
illustration to simplify/explain concepts, processes or
equipment; e.g., elaborate flow charts, cut-away views
of equipment
- Custom
production: logos, displays, photo montages, posters,
etc.
Note:
Depending on complexity or desired impact, the Analysis,
Concept and Definition phases may be grouped as one pre-production
phase.
Place
your cursor over the “road signs” to see what's involved
in each phase. Click on the signs for additional details.
